About Resourceful
About us
Resourceful was launched in 2021 with a simple goal: to make it easier for people to find the programs and services they need, while helping community organizations connect with the people they serve.
Resourceful is a collaborative effort led by Essentia Health and community partners across the region. Together, our Community Site Leadership Team and Regional Action Teams work with local organizations, healthcare systems, and community leaders to improve awareness, access, and connection to social services.
Through ongoing community engagement, partners come together to identify needs, develop action plans, connect people with resources, and measure the impact of their work. This collaborative approach helps ensure Resourceful continues to grow based on what communities actually need.
Resourceful is built on the idea of "No Wrong Door” people should be able to find the help they need regardless of where they start. By bringing healthcare systems, community organizations, and social service providers together, we can make it easier for individuals and families to connect with the right resources at the right time.
Together, we are making it easier to find help, strengthen communities, and connect people to the resources they need.
Our impact
During the first five years, Resourceful has helped expand access to community resources by building partnerships with healthcare systems and community organizations across the region:
